Define ft. Gianfra - “F(r)âme(s)” Album

Basic needs of human conditions are easy fulfilled in western modern societies: breath, drink, eat, sleep, etc. But after these, the brains move to the next level of awareness: what are we? What is our goal in life? What is our legacy once we are gone?

This internal struggle seems at first very unnecessary but at a deeper look is the core of the human existence. For many people this process is unbearable and brings them to extreme choices, on the contrary for others it is barely felt. Sometimes the socio-economical situation we are in define a future with no alternatives, sometimes we need to evolve and move away from it.

Relocating is always felt as a good way out from difficult realities, but often brings guilt to the emigrants: the feeling that you are escaping, that instead of fighting back, you are taking the easy path. But at the end, life fulfillment isn’t it about finding the way to a better future?

This song brings together all those feelings and mixes them up with dark sonority to generate a deep and intimate conversation between two old friends separated by many kilometers.

Cheers
Stevo

Lyrics:
It’s a long time my friend

Since I see this landscape
Has been a hard time to defend
My pride and do not escape

But now the hills are way down below me

And I feel mother earth talking to me
Again I trust the world and I know that I have to try

Define myself

I’ll do anything to define myself

All around me, bad things are happening

It’s so worrying, I understand, and it’s hard but I have to
When I’ll meet you again
On a spaceship or on a train
I will know I have fulfilled my faith

But now the hills are way down below me

And I feel mother earth talking to me
Again I trust the world and I know that I have to try

Define myself

I’ll do anything to define myself
Define my head
Define my death

His Name - “F(r)âme(s)” Album

How do we normal world dwellers perceive and exercise power and how do we react when we become unwanted subjects of power structures?

In the current times revealing oneself by practicing a transparent authenticity online is a must to be recognised as a peer, as a reliable person.

Revealing yourself from where I come from is letting one be vulnerable, weaken by information, but nowadays information and the active sharing of it, means to exist, it is an auto definition of what you would like to be, a certain aspirational move.

But can you really share everything you think, can you allow yourself to be critical, open and bold about certain topics? The answer relies in context, in the sociopolitical to be more exact.

The globality of ideas contrast with the different reactions and consequences you would have to face depending on where you live: political and societal vindications can mean you will be trolled in internet or you will end up dead.

If everything is about content production and information sharing, power is exercised by controlling the content and monopolizing information channels. Dissident voices are perceived by power structures and its representatives as uncontrolled variables that disturb order, such voices are considered in many cases military targets.

The power of nations and their big military parades are a reminder that coercion can always come as an unexpected private intrusion at your home but haven’t you let the door open?

In any case don't say the name!

Abelardo, that is the name!

Lyrics:
Can’t remember the fella
That came that day
Can’t remember the fella
That killed the faith

Don’t wanna say his name

Suddenly the police came in

Asking for information of the location of my beloved

Don’t wanna say his name

Alteration is just, just a peak of time!

Don’t wanna say his name
