A song announcing the end of a general collective epoch and the beginning of the vigilance of our own stupidity not the avoidance but the continuity of those things that makes us feel down but now in a conscious and also cocky self-entitled way.

We are the hypocritical mirror of a society that thinks it knows it all… check it out really! We talk and criticise consumption, neoliberal society, social media, not being there for our loved ones, the pointless nature of a materialistic based society… yes boys and girls, we are heading for the same stupid paradox of trying to point out something negative while at the same time being completely immersed on it… our cars, our vacations, our fears, our iPads, our Facebook profiles, our little band as a palliative resource not to feel pointlessly bland. Our will to push our music by relating to a discourse that is so superficial it makes wanna puke….

We have become the artistic diffusers, the politically correct puppets of a dying left… but we can always say that we do it for fun and that this is how we actually think. The circumstances of our lives made us be this coward to only put up an artistic intention to have a better conscience… at the end of the day this pathetic intent won’t fade... but we will say… at least… at least, at least as a fucking mantra of self-pity…. so yes enjoy it but really hate it… as we finally hate ourselves… what a fucking bullshit we are!!! By the way below you will find the post that was intended to explain the fucking song!

Life is what happens while you are busy making other plans (JL)… and plans are all those things you are supposed to be doing to supposedly have a good life… but where all these things lie and who defines what a good life should look like… those are collective definitions often imposed onto us to appear cool because trendy is a thing and we need to act on what hip is by defining us in relation of acceptance or opposition to it. And in this relation we become diffusion agents of an imposed coolness, by buying, by producing, by selling your integrity to the best bidder… but a New Era is here, make it yours!!

“New Era” Album - INTRO

About Anthropocene and Fractures and Transitions.

We mark the passage of time not only by a constant ticking … we signify big societal changes by identifying periods of transition, of rupture, of fundamental change.

We usually are spectators in such periods not even being conscious of the fact that we are going through one, that in the future will be called an Era.

Time and history contain us and not the other way around.

But well... this our New Era, our FUCK you to a grandiloquent definition of what we are, of what we are supposed to be or to be doing…
This our small depiction of the episodes that compose our history…

Our New Era is an affirmation of creation as the only assertion of a life worth living

Our New Era is stone in the sea and not as a bait but as a prolongation of our restrained spirit… a constant liberation even if sometimes it feels like a tiny cage

Cause we don't want to share our timeline with the agents of an Era of Post Truths and the Idiocy of any Tyrants, small or big, from the North or the East.

This New Era is a path, it is part of being constructed as Family (expressed in our first album “Welcome to Our World’) to the identification of us as creative beings, immersed also in the creations of worlds (check "Pulpo and Friends") to the recognition or our frames, limits, fears, of our own demons; "F(r)ame(s)".

Musically New Era is reconciliation of the sounds of our past, as diverse as they are, with our emotional present and of an idea of a future not as a project that will change anything in some years but as a how we are gonna handle this week. And this week has been fucking hard, but here we are, supporting each other the best we can.

This is New Era… it sucks… sometimes… but we define the pace...Enjoy!!!
